In January 1990 the company „Ivan Mráz – AVÍZO“ was established with its core business of editing papers for free classifieds advertising under the title AVÍZO. This company was incorporated into the emerging joint-stock company AVÍZO, a.s. in 1997. In 1998 American company Target Media Partners International, LLC acquired 50% of the stock of AVÍZO, a.s.

At present AVÍZO, a.s. publishes seven different types of advertising newspapers and provides a very successful websites, www.AVIZO.cz and www.eCPM.cz (Czech Property Market) resp.

INOVA Plzeň 90 s.r.o. publishes advertising newspaper INWEST, which comes out in the Western Bohemia since 1990, as well as INWEST Speciál – a free rack distributed advertising monthly paper. In 2000 AVÍZO, a.s. had acquired a part of the stock of Inova Plzeň 90, s.r.o., and later in 2003 AVÍZO, a.s, became the only owner of Inova Plzeň 90, s.r.o.

Barborka s.r.o. is the publisher of advertising paper Jihočeské AVÍZO and of advertising newspaper JA Special – rack free distributed advertising paper. In 2001 AVIZO, a.s. had become the only stock owner of Barborka s.r.o.
